| AMENITIES |
| Cottonwood Bend is situated in a region of unique & striking natural variety: desert, sub-alpine and alpine environments converge in this special geographical region. Summers are wonderfully benign (cooler than the Okanagan); winters are snug in powder snow splendour. |
- The KVR Trail passes along the west side of the river with the West Kettle Gorge just 15 minutes south by bicycle.
- Summer recreational activities include hiking, biking, horseback/ATV riding, hunting, fishing and camping throughout the adjacent Okanagan-Kootenay Boundary-Manning Park areas.
- Winter sports include snowmobiling and downhill/cross-country skiing, the site being roughly equidistant between Big White and Mt. Baldy Ski Resorts along the less-travelled Highway 33.
- Williamson Lake and Pete Lake are close by. Taurus Lake is next door.
